Gutta Resist

Jacquard traditional Gutta Resist is made from natural Gutta-percha (tree sap), which produces the finest resist available. Gutta Resist becomes permanent with air-drying and is intended to remain permanently on the fabric. Gutta is NOT water-based and can only be thinned and cleaned up with Gutta Resist Solvent.

NOTE: When used with heavier silks, Gutta Resist may have to be thinned with Gutta Resist Solvent so it completely penetrates the fabric.

• Permanent, Air-Dry Finish — Dries to stay permanently on the fabric, unlike water-based resists.
• Thin With Gutta Resist Solvent — The only solvent that safely thins and cleans this non-water-based resist.
