Francesca Lalanne is an American sculptor, printmaker, and painter born of Haitian parents. She finds inspiration from architectural, sociological, psychological and mystical themes. Francesca’s sculptures, like her paintings and works on paper, take on emotional subjects, like resistance, power, and posture, and merge them with structural and figurative features.
Francesca received her MFA from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Her work has been featured at Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami, Art Miami, and Quotidian Gallery in Los Angeles among other venues. She lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
