Juice from the jagua fruit (Genipa americana) has been used for body adornment for millennia. The Amazonian fruit produces a non-permanent, bluish-black stain that resembles the color of "traditional" tattoos and lasts until the skin fully exfoliates (approximately 1-2 weeks).
